I had married before on a beach and had a small A line dress. I felt that I had missed out on my childhood fantasy of the perfect wedding. This time though I feel I put more thought into my (should I say Our!!)big day. I had in my minds eye what i wanted and couldn't find anything that would just be me. I eventually found a pattern in a charity shop and had a dress maker put it together but with a few tweaks LOL!! The over all end for me was just perfect. Because it had a lace up back it didn't matter that I lost weight. Because I was so happy with my dress it made our day seem even better. We had a winter theme - red and white and we married at dusk so when we came out of the church it was dark and all of our guests had paper lanterns - it was just lovely. What ever your theme- take the time to choose your dress it certainly is worth it in the end!!
